Funeral services for Bennie Eugene Miller, 79 of Denison, were held Saturday morning, May 11, 2013 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Brian Taylor of Forest Avenue Baptist Church officiated.  Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas.
He passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Bennie was born October 6, 1933 in Frisco, Texas, son of Benjamin Franklin Miller and Lizzie Dee Weatherly.  He joined and served in the United States Navy.  Bennie married Frances Minchey on May 28, 1966 in Dallas, Texas.  She preceded him in death on June 9, 1992.  He was an avid softball player and played in numerous church and community softball leagues. Bennie loved to go and drink coffee at the local cafe or truck stop.   He was a lontime member of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church.
Bennie is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Stephenson and husband, Steve, of Bells; son, Dennis Miller and wife, Barbara, of Dodd City, Texas; son, Greg Miller and Loretta Mills of Durant, Oklahoma; and daughter, Margaret McCammack and husband, Scott, of Denison; grandchildren: Bradley Miller and Jamie Holt; William Miller; Scott McCammack, II; Megan Barron; Melinda McCammack; Carley Dunkle; Rob Anderson; Penny Rocha; Jerry Hall and Tommy Stephenson.  He is also survived by his sister, Edna Gowan of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews, cousins and special extended family, Helen Miiller, Cerelle Miller, C.J. and Jenna and family.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and granddaughter, Kathy Anderson.
Pallbearers were Bradley Miller, William Miller, Kraig Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Scott McCammack, II, and Keith Goff.   Honoray pallbearer was Ben Johnson
