Sunday, February 25, 2007 Services for Clinton V. Martin. 79, of Pottsboro, Texas were held Tuesday morning, February 27, 2007, graveside at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Sam Caldwell of Lakeway United Methodist Church officiating. Clinton passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Homestead of Denison. Clinton was born on February 11, 1928, in Hayti, Missouri, son of Virgil and Agnes Pearl Martin. He served his country for 17 years in the United States Army. He first married Loretta J. Watkins in August 1964, and she preceeded him in death. He later married Sue Crawford in October 1987. Clint was an amazing painter and worked locally for over 30 years painting signs. He will be missed by all who knew him. Clint is survived by his stepson, Kyle Johnson and wife, Ann, of Pottsboro, Texas; 2 step-daughters, Paula Cox and Caroline Johnson, both of Pottsboro; 4 grandchildren; ex-wife, Sue Martin of Pottsboro, Texas; sister, sister-in-law and niece, all of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; and one brother; stepson, James Johnson.
