Mabary 1923 - 1998  Sherman - Wanda Faye Mabary, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Wanda was born on March 15,.1930 in Denison, daughter of Charles and Cora Grove Hunter. She graduated from GCC Vocational Nursing and married Frank J. Mabary on June 4, 1945 in Durant, Oklah oma. Wanda was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Denison, Circle 4 and the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary. Wanda will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, John R. Mabary, Shirley Hill, Rachel Preston and Toni Campbell; grandchildren, Valorie Mast, Leigh Flippo, John C. Mabary, Matt Stringer, Jeffrey Wight, Jennifer Ulmer, Jessica Cotton, Jaime Mahaffey, and Jared Campbell; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandparents and 2 brothers. Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday morning, September 21, 2009 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Chapel on the Hill in Sherman with Rev. Jim Hawthorne from First Presbyterian Church officiating.
