Sherman - Dorothy Jean Morton, 82, passed away December 1, 2010 at Hilltop Haven in Gunter, where she was known as "Giggles" by her friends.
Jean was born June 21, 1928 in Terrell, daughter of Buell Benton Littleton and Myrtice Marie Dorsey Littleton.  She graduated from Terrell High School and later moved to Hillsboro where she met and married Louie Robert Morton on August 13, 1950.  Her 2 children, Pamela Jean Morton Green and Robert David Morton, were born in Hillsboro and moved to Sherman in 1954.  While in Sherman, Jean worked at Penn Cleaners, Texas Instruments, and Oscar Mayer from which she retired in 1991.  Jean was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church.
She is survived by her children, Pam Green and husband, Ralph; and David Morton and partner, Teresa Busby; and by one brother, Bill Littleton and wife, Inez, of Mansfield.  She has 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Wanda Thompson; and one brother, Jerry Littleton.
Graveside services were held at Saturday morning, December 4, 2010 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

Louie Robert Morton was the son of Lewis Crane Morton and Georgia H. Kelton.  He married Dorothy Jean "Giggles" Littleton
in Hillsboro, Hill Co., Texas on August 13, 1950.  Their 2 children, Pamela Jean Morton Green and Robert David Morton were born in Hillsboro and moved to Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas in 1954.  Louie was a cleaner and presser for a dry cleaning company.  In addition, he was a member of Liberty Lighthouse Church.
Mr. Morton passed away from lung cancer on December 15, 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife and children.
He was interred in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman,  Grayson County, Texas.
