Established 1948  The Whitewright Sun Thursday, November 12, 1953 pg. 1 Funeral services for Deborah Leah Merritt, two-day-old daughter of Sgt. and Mrs. Edwin Merritt, were held at Cedarlawn Cemetery under direction of Earnheart Funeral Home. The child was born Sunday in a Denison hospital. The father is on duty in France, and Mrs. Merritt is living in Denison. Surviving besides the parents is a brother, Edward Allen Merritt.
