DEATHS
J.B. (Bud) Moncrief, 57, who resided at 1401 West Gandy, died at a local hospital last week after a lengthy illnes, and was buried at Cedarlawn cemetery.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.A. Manley at Bratcher-Moore chapel.
Mr. Moncrief was a retired barber.  He was a member of the Methodist church and the Eagles lodge.
He was born in Fulton County, Arkansas, May 19, 1892, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Caleb Moncrief.  He was educated in Arkansas schools, and was married January 5, 1913.
Survivors include his widow; four sons, Henry C. and J. Lee, of Denison; Willis O., of Dallas; and Franklin E. of McMinnville, Oregon; three daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Parker and Mrs. David Whitten, both of Denison; and Mrs. Charles Blumenthal of Tulelake, California; a brother, Jess Moncrief of Ravenna and a sister, Mrs. Emma Crumbly of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
