Established 1948    Bobby Gene Larkins 22 October 1933 - 13 December 2010 US Army  The Herald Democrat December 15-16, 2010 DENISON - Bobby Gene Larkins, 77, passed away December 13, 2010 at his home in Denison. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Everett Hodges officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Charles Hosey, John Hosey, J.P. Miller, Jacob Ham, Orin Montgomery, and Rory Larkins. Honorary pallbearers were Zachary Patton, Chris Hosey and Joshua Hosey. B.G. was a member of First Christian Church in Denison. He served in the Army in the Korean War and worked at Safeway Brookside as an electrician for 29 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan, of Denison; sons, Charles Hosey and wife, Joan, of Arlington; John F. Hosey and wife, Diane, of Denison; daughters, Diane Montgomery and husband, Roby, of Bennington, Oklahoma; Cynthia Taylor and husband, Mark, of Gunter; Carol Ham and husband, J.W., of Howe; Charlyn R. Patton and husband, Darrell, of Bells; sister, Janelle Johnson and husband, Dale, of Wichita, Kansas; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was precededin death by his parents and brothers, Sherman Larkins and Therman Larkins. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison.
