Lily Joy Logston, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2017 in Ft. Worth, Texas surrounded by her 32 family members at Texas Health Harris Hospital.  Funeral service was held Tuesday morning, October 23, 2017 at Waldo Funeral Home.  Rev. Joe Ed Goolsby officiated.  Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
Joy was born May 22, 1932 in Hagerman, Texas, daughter of Alford Fulmer, Sr. and Edna B. Short Fulmer.
Joy was the matriarch of her family and loved spending time with them and traveling to visit her children in their homes.  She was a avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to cheer the Cowboys on and to wear the Cowboy colors and jersey.  Joy was a great cook.  She attended the First United Methodist Church in Sherman and the Adult fellowship Sunday School class until her health declined.  Joy's employment years included long time manager at The Pretzel Shop located at Sher-Den Mall, a seamstress at The Rebirth Leather Shop, where she made and repaired leather goods.  One of her customers was Johnny Cash for whom she made a Western duster.  When her children were younger, she enjoyed being a seamstress for the girls.
Joy is survived by her children, Pam Smith and husband, Charlie, of Ft. Worth; Steve Logston and wife, Pam, of Windsor, Colorado; Becky Thornton and husband, Clay, of Taylor, Texas; Lee Wayne Logstone and wife, Diane, of Sherman; Kendall Logston and Kim Cogburn of Sherman; 3 sisters, Martha O'Mary of Pottsboro; Mattie Stewart of The Colony, Texas; and Judy Francis of Carrollton, Texas; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her children's father, Lee Roy Logston; 2 sons, Jamie and Casey Logston.
Pallbearers were Dustin Logston, Ryan Logston, Zach Logston, Joshua Logston, Keylon Logston, and Robert Logston.  Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Slay, Tim Logston, Matthew Logston, Dustin Kirby, Gabriel Paschall and Kolby Logston. - - - Waldo Funeral Home

Denison - Jamie Doyle Logston, 53, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, November 2, 2008 surrounded by his loving family at Texoma Medical Center.
Mr. Logston was born February 22, 1955 in Denison, Texas, son of Lee Roy and Lily Joy Logston.  Jamie married Kathy Walters on October 11, 1995 in Denison.  Jamie was a carpetner for 35 years in the Denison area.  He loved the Lord and was a member of Kemp Baptist Church.  Jamie was a loving husband, father and son.
Mr. Logston is survived by his wife of 23 years; daughters, Kendra Dawn Logston of Denison; Amanda Lee Peeks and husband, Kenny, of Amarillo; mother, Joy Logston, of Sherman; brother, Lee Wayne Logston and wife, Diane, of Sherman; brother, Casey Logston, of Sherman; brother, Steve Logston and wife, Pam, of Windsor, Colorado; sister, Rebecca Dawn Thornton and husband, Clay, of Lakeview; and sister, Pamela Leeann Smith and husband, Charles, of Ft. Worth; numerous nieces and nephews.
Jamie was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2008 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.  Pallbearers were Teddy Lee Simpson, Dustin Logston, Brandon Slay, Rick Bunnell, Jacob White and Kevin Harwell.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison.

Sherman - Funeral services for Casey Roy Logston, 48, of Sherman were held Friday afternoon, March 16, 2012 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.  Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
Casey passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at his residence in Sherman.
He was born September 28, 1963 in Sherman, son of Lee Roy Logston and Lily Joy Fulmer Logston.  Casey graduated from Sherman High School and attended Grayson County College.  He was known for being the neighborhood Handy Man.  He was always willing to help when he was called.  Casey loved his kids and was always telling people about them.
He is survived by his son, Robert Roy Logston; daughter, Abby Dianne Logston, both of Denison; mother, Joy Logston, of Sherman; brother, Lee Logstone and wife, Diane, of Sherman; Kendall Logston, of Sherman; sister, Pamela Smith and husband, Charles, of Ft. Worth; sister, Rebecca Thornton and husband, Clay of Lakeway, Texas; and brother, Steve Logdon and wife, Pam, of Windsor, Colorado.  Casey is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Jamie Doyle; grandparents, Roy and Aggie Logston and Alfred and Edna Fulmer.
Pallbearers were his son, Robert Roy Logston; and nephews, Dustin Logston, Ryan Logston, Zachary Logston, Joshua Logston, and Keylon Logston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas, 5080 Spectrum Dr., Suite 1150E, Addison, Texas 75001.
