HOWE - Graveside services for Irene Munden Langford, 93, of Howe were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Bro. Roger Tidwell officiated the service.
Irene Munden Langford was born May 27, 1916 in Coolidge to Florence Bunch Munden and Elgin Munden. At 2 years of age, the family moved to Marshall, where Irene lived and went to school. Irene married Nowlin R. Langford on February 14, 1936 in Marshall. They moved to Grayson County in 1936. Irene was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School class and the First Baptist Church in Howe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nowlin, in 1995; and brother, N.C. Munden in 1996.
Irene is survived by one son, Raymond Langford and wife Vala of Howe; granddaughters, Sheryl Harmon of Louisville, Kentucky; and Sandra White and husband Craig of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandsons, David Ehlers of Florida; and Patrick Langford and wife, Candy, of Howe; seven great-grandchildren. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Howe.
