Alma "Jean" Jones, 78, of Wolfe City died November 11, 2014 at her home following a long illness with Alzheimers.  Funeral services were held Friday morning, November 14, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Monte Weaver and Bro. Larry Morris officiating.  Burial followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
The daughter of George Ray and Flora Minnie Grantland Thomas, she was born on February 17, 1936 in Savoy.  On February 14, 1953 she married Thomas Henry Jones, Jr. in Sherman.  They moved to Wolfe City in 1963; and she worked for Ennis Tag & Label in the wiring and stringing department for 31 years.  She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mamie Self of Garland; and a brother, Lendon Thomas of Denison; daughter, Linda Jones Kaiser and husband, Scott, of Danville, Arkansas; and son, Tommy Jones and wife, Becky, of Wolfe City; 6 grandchildren: Jerry Jones; T.J. Jones and wife, Randi; Dustin Jones and wife, Melissa; Rachel Jones Shreves and husband, Rusty, Samantha Jones Stark and husband, Koa; and Alan Jones; great-grandchildren: Noah and Maison Jones; Cadence and Aria Thomas; William Jones; and Becca Shreves.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ricky Jones; sister, Leola Gregg; brother, Walter Thomas; and 2 great-grandsons, Parker and Grayson Jones.
