Funeral services for William H. James, 63, of 213 N. Barrett, were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Ed Bayless officiating, and interment in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
James, a mail handler in the baggage depot of the Katy RR, died at 12:05 Monday morning in the Katy employees hospital, where he had been a patient for 2 months.
James was born in Marshfield, Missouri, October 16, 1891, son of Mr, and Mrs. J.B. James.  He was reared and education in Marshfield and was married in Sherman in 1946 to Mrs. Nellie Seales.  He had lived in Denison about 15 years.  He was employed by the Frisco RR in Missouri before coming to Denison.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edwina James Orlosky, Coral Gables, Florida; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. J.F. Davison of Denison and Mrs. A.W. Allen of Waco.
