Willie Mae Johnson, 101, passed away March 4, 2010, in Sherman. Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Leland Samuelson officiated.
Willie Mae was born on January 10, 1909 in Waxahachie to Willie F. and Stella Buckner Martin. She was educated in the public schools and retired from Conagra and Genes Laundromat. She married Charlie O. Johnson on June 2, 1928, in Cedar Hill, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage.
He preceded her in death on November 26, 1990.  Also preceded in death by two sons, Charles Wayne and Clyde Edwin and two sisters.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Ray and six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Evans, Chad Evans, Derek Johnson, Chad Johnson, Steve Brinkley, Charles Hines.

Services for Charlie Odis Johnson, 89, of 604 S. Rusk were held Wednesday afternoon at Dannel Funeral Chapel.  He died Monday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital.  Rev. Dalton Jaco, pastor of the Assembly of God church in Whitewright officiated.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Johnson was born in Midlothian, the son of William Jefferson and Lena Taylor Johnson.  He attended Midlothian schools.  In 1928 he married Willie Mae Martin in Cedar Hill.
Formerly of Royse City, he had been a Sherman residence since 1946.  He was a dispatcher for Texas Power and Light (now TU Electric) and retired in 1965.  He was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Charles W. Johnson and Kenneth Johnson, both of Sherman; brother, Jack Johnson of Irving; sister, Beatrice Hudson of Cisco; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kevin Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Dennis Franklin, Bill Evans, Glen Strickland, and Darryl Johnson.


Dallas - Kenneth R. Johnson of Dallas died Friday, February 23, 2018 at Baylor Hospital, Dallas.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Dannel Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Johnson, and 2 children.
