Services for Marion Virgil Inman of 1721 E. Mulberry, 91 year old Sherman grocer who died Wednesday in a Sherman hospital, were held Friday afternoon at East Sherman Baptist Church.  Rev. R.M. Williams of East Sherman Baptist Church officiated, with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, directed by Waldo Funeral Home.  Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mr. Inman was born in Sherman, son of Thomas and Minnie Wells Inman and married Ruth Lee Cordell in Sherman in 1912. He attended Sherman schools and Capt. Letellier's Academy.
Mr. Inman was active in the grocery business at Pecan and Willow streets for 75 years. He was a member of Travis Masonic Lodge No. 117, Scottish Rite, Indivisible Friends Commentary and was on the Deacon Board of East Sherman Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons, Dr. Rudolph Inman and Edward Inman, both of Sherman; Tom Inman of Houston; and Charles R. Inman of Tyler; daughter, Mrs. Jerry Brashier of Abilene; sister, Mrs. O.L. Caldwell of Sherman; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Barrett Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Ruth Lee Inman, 73, of 1723 E. Mulberry, who died Sunday in a Sherman hospital after a long illness.  Rev. R.M. Williams and Leroy Martin, both of the East Sherman Baptist, conducted the services.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Virgil Inman of Sherman; 4 sons, Thomas Virgil Inman of Houston; and E.L. Rudolph and Charles Inman, all of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Brashier of Dallas; 2 brothers, Arlie Cordell of Whitewright and Henry Hughes of Ft. Worth; a sister, Ms. Bob Chambless of Sherman; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
