Services for Bennie H. Inman Sr., 79-year-old resident and retired barber who died Saturday in a Sherman nursing home, were held Tuesday iafternoon in Waldo Funeral Chapel. Rev. R.M. Williams of East Sherman Baptist Church officiated and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Inman was born in Sherman, son of Thomas and Minnie Wells Inman, and married Mildred Hamm on Octoer 6, 1922 in Sherman. A longtime Sherman barber, he operated his own shop on Willow St. for several years. He was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; son, Bennie H. Inman, Jr. of Sherman; daughters, Mrs. Betty James of Dallas; Mrs. Mary Twyford of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; Mrs. Jannelle Grigg of Denton; brother, Virgil Inman of Sherman; sister, Mrs. Pansy Caldwell of Sherman; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Johnny Burleson, Warren Bernard, J.B. Walling, Lloyd Short, Leslie Inman and Ira Inman.

SHERMAN - Graveside service for Mildred C. Inman, 82, lifelong Sherman resident, were at 11 a.m. today at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Raymond Vogtner officiating. Dannel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Inman was born July 13, 1907 in Alvord, daughter of Harold B. and Dora Hamm. She married Bennie H. Inman Sr. October 6, 1922 in Sherman. Mrs. Inman, a housewife attended Sherman schools. She was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Bennie H. Jr. of Sherman; 3 daughters, Betty D. James, Mary L. Twyford, both of Dallas; and Janelle L. Griggs of Denison; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service were held at Cedarlawn Cemetery Friday at 3:30 p.m. for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Inman Jr., 1611 N.Highland. Rev. R. M. Williams, pastor of the East Sherman Baptist Church, officiated. Waldo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The child was born Thursday night and died early Friday.
Survivors include the parents, the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie H. Inman and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Bankes, all of Sherman.
