Thomas Joe Hulsey, 95, of Sherman, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the TMC Bonham Hospital in Bonham, Texas.
Born on November 15, 1925, son of Thomas A. Hulsey and Minnie Bell Fields, Thomas joined the United States Army and served in World War II.  He married Imogene Sheffield in 1947 and she preceded in death in 2017.  Thomas was a 61 year Mason, a longtime member of East Sherman Baptist that became New Heritage Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Hulsey Buck and husband, Michael, of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandson, Scott Hulsey of Plano, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kandy Curtis Hulsey of Rowlett, Texas; step-daughter, Brenda Green and husband, Jerry; stepson, Larry Yoast and wife, Patricia; step-son, Ronnie Yoast and wife, LuAnn, along with 6 additional grandchildren; and numerous great-great-great-grandchildren spanning five generations including countless friends and extended family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; and son, Randy Joe  Hulsey.
Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, January 8, 2021 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemebery.  Private family services were held at New Heritage Baptist Church.  Live streaming of the private family service was available through the New Heritage Baptist Church Facebook Page.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to New Heritage Baptist Church in Sherman of the donor's choice.
