Dallas G. Hollimon, operator of the Hollimon Tire and Equipment Company at 121 N. Burnett, died at his home on Loy Lake Road, Saturday, Janaury 13, at the age of 53.  Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel with Rev. Ed Bayless officiating and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Hollimon was born in Leighton, Alabama, February 7, 1897, the son of Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Hollimon.  He received his education in Itasca, Texas and was married in Wellington, Oklahoma in 1940 to Grace Meyer.  A veteran of World War I, he lived in Oklahoma City before coming to Denison in in 1940.  He was active in civic affairs of Denison; was a member of the Presbyterian church, the American Legion, the Elks, K.P., and the Round-Up Club.  He worked for a short time for the U.S. Engineers during World War II.
Survivors include his widow; two brothers, Dewey Hollimon of Denison and Aubrey Hollimon of Grandview; and three sisters, Mrs. Fay Wilkerson and Miss Gladys Hollimon, both of Dallas; and Mrs. Eunice Steel of Pittsburg, Texas.

Funeral services for Dewey C. Hollimon, 55, of Loy Lake Road were held at Bratcher-Moore Chapel Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Ed Bayless officiating.  Interment was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Hollimon was born in Moulton, Alabama, August 19, 1899.  He was married in Grandview, Texas in 1923 to Mabel Files.  Hollimon retired from business about two years ago on account of ill heatlh.  He was formerly associated with his brother, the late Dallas G. Hollimon, as co-owner of the Hollimon Tire Company.  He was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Elks, and Billy Mosse Lodge 1152 of the Masons.  Before coming to Denison 11 years ago, he worked for the U.S. Government Engineers.
Survivors include his widow; a brother, Aubrey Hollimon of Grandview; and three sisters, Miss Gladys Hollimon and Mrs. Faye Wilson, both of Dallas; and Mrs. Alma Steele of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
