Lois Means Hunt, 83, of Denison, Texas, was born October 19, 1938 i n Denison.  Lois passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving daughters by her side.
Lois loved having Sunday dinners with her daughters, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.  She loved being outdoors and still loved mowing her yard on her riding lawn mower.
Lois had a career in banking all of her life and loved it.  She loved helping people in our community and loved them all as they did her.  She started out at Denison Federal Savings and Loan.   She retired in 2000 to be able to come home and take care of the love of her life, James L. Hunt, when he fell ill and eventually passed in 2002.
Lois is survived by her 3 daughters, all of Denison, Texas: Cari Barton and husband, Darren; Leslie Nunley; and Kellie Doshier and husband, Doss; grandchildren: Justin Pennington; Emily Watson and husband, Alex; Amber Doshier; DJ Doshier and wife, Shelby; and Tabitha Coffey and husband, Conner; great-grandchildren: Beau Walston; Bennett Walston; Karson Pennington; Ryland Pennington; Axel Pennington; Elijah Foster; Adleigh Foster; Cole Doshier and Carter Doshier.
Funeral service was held Saturday morning, May 14, 2022 at Fisher Funeral Home.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.  Pallbearers were Alex Walston, Charlie Means, Doss Doshier, Clay Hunt, Conner Coffey and DJ Doshier. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
