Services for Mrs. Ida Franklin Haizlip, 85, Sherman resident, were held Thursday afternoon in Waldo Funeral Home Chapel.  She died Monday at Chapel of Care Nursing Home.  Dr. Ray E. Williams of Ft. Worth and Rev. Jeff Reid of orest Avenue Baptist Church, officiated.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Haizlip was born in Howe, Texas, a daughter of James Franklin WIlliams and Emma Julia Jay Williams.  On December 31, 1924 she married Hallie Haizlip in Howe.
She was employed as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney Co. for 30 years.  She had been a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Janice Gilliland and husband, Arnold, of Sherman (whom she reared); brother, W.B. Williams of Visalia, California; 3 grandchldren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Swindle, Dick Rush, Cecil Blevins, Roy Barker, Ted Hill and Weldon Stice.
Memorials may be made to Forest Avenue Baptist church.
