William H. Hall, 66, Katy employe, died at a local hospital Sunday, July 28, at 8:53 a.m. after six days of illness.  Funeral services were held in Johnson-Moore Chapel Monday, July 29, Rev. Ed Broome and Mr. Lamb conducted the service.  Interment was in Cedarlawn Cemetery wtih Johnson-Moore in charge.
Mr., Hall was a native of Prescott, Arkansas. He was born December 6, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Hall and attended Prescott schools.  He was married to Miss Bert Pace who died in 1953.  Mr. Hall had worked as a Katy conductor for 20 years and as a brakeman for 27 years.  He was a veteran of World War I, serving in France.  He was a member of the O.R.C. Masonic Lodge No. 1152, Shriners, Elks, Eagles, American Legion, B of RT and the VFW.  He held Shrine membership in Mosiah Temple, Fort Worth.
Survivors are two brothers, W.P. Hall, El Centro, California; and Pete Hall, Hawaii; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Wilson, Bryan, Texas; and Mrs. C.R. Austin, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
