Grams 27 September 1916 - 13 May 2011 The Herald Democrat December 17, 2009  DENISON - Rose Marie Grams, 83-year-old Denison resident, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, December 18 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison with Fr. Stephen Mocio officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Grams was born on February 8, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana, daughter of Simon and Anna Horwath Zummer. She graduated from Central High School in South Bend, Ind. She married Irving John Grams I on October 26, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana. She worked for Dr. Dickey and Dr. Jensen for many years and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary and past member of the Altar Society. She was also an avid bridge player and she loved to dance. Surviving is her husband, Irving John Grams I of Denison; sons, Irving John Grams II of New Boston, Brian Grams and Mark Grams, both of Denison; four grandchildren, Dawn, Joanna, Axton, and Alexander and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents; son, Timothy; and brothers, Simon and George. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
