Eloise Eugenia Presley Hooper Gregson was born on September 30, 1922, daughter of Margaret and Garfield Presley.  Her childhood and early years were spent in Greenville, Texas and Denison, Texas.  Eloise graduated from Denison High School, in 1939, and served on the yearbook staff.
Shortly after graduation Elouise eloped to Miller, Arkansas and married lifelong friend Truman Hooper.  Eloise and Truman shared 3 children, Roger, Annette and Susan, whom they loved very much.  Eloise was very active in the PTA of the children's schools and at the state level, and a member of First Baptist Church and the Alpha Delphi Club.  She was a founding member of the auxiliary at Texoma Medical Center.  Eloise and Truman enjoyed many years of square dancing at Texoma Squares and traveled across the globe with their square dancing friends.
Eloise will be remembered fondly by her family for her lemon colonial pecan pound cake and egg nog at Christmas.  She was an excellent cook and shared that skill happily with other family members.  She alwyas had sweet tea and a cake ready in the kitchen when family and friends dropped by to visit.  Eloise was quick with advice, and a "mmm-hmm" of acknowledgement.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Garfield M. Presley and Margaret L. Swann Presley; husband, Truman Claude Hooper and Glen Gregson; and beloved son, Roger Clay Hooper.
Eloise is survived by her daughters and families - Annette and Bill Tilley of Fredericksburg, Texas; and Susan Hooper of Denison, Texas.  Survivors also include Linda Hooper; grandchildren, Wendy and Gary Hallmark; Ginger Burtis; Laurel and Andy Hooper; Michelle and Austin Burtis; Garfield Matthew Hooper; Melinda and Rob Sebesta; and Donna and Bill Billey, III.  Great-grandchildren include A.J. Burtis; Henry Hooper; Julianna Hooper; Kyra and James Hallmark; and Lauren Hallmark.
Eloise passed away Friday, August 16, 2019.  Services were held Tuesday morning, August 20, 2019 at Fisher Funeral Home.  Private interment was held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
