Worth and formerly of Denisonm died Monday, May 27, 1996 at Wedgewood Nursing Home in Ft. Worth. Graveside services were held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. L.D. Lamb officiating, Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Surviving are two granddaughters. Denison Herald December 15, 1987 pg. 2 Denison - Graveside services for John "Bo" Flowers of Burleson, 92-year-old former Denison resident who died Monday at his home were held Wednesday afternoon in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rev. L.D. Lamb officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Mr. Flowers was born in Bells, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Flowers. He attended Bells schools and married Abbie Davis on October 20, 1940 in Denison. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson and Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He was a railroad expressman for the Katy Railroad for 39 years before his retirement in 1961 and then worked for Lilley's Department Store in Denison. Surviving are his wife; son, Glendon Flowers; brothers, Hershel Flowers of Denton and Albert Flowers of Arizona; sister, Nellie Martin of Denison; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
