Mrs. Jimmie Juanell Evans, 91, of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully in Waco, Texas surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 4, 2019.   Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Monday morning, March 18, 2019.
Jimmie was born January 11, 1928 in Van Alstyne, Texas, daughter of John and Lear Vandagriff.  She worked many years at Citizens National Bank in Denison.  Her hobbies included working in the yard, collecting antiques, and spending time with her family.  She especially enjoyed the Thanksgiving holidays.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Modyne Kalmin; husband; son, Jimmy Evans; and grandson, Josh Jarvis.
Survivors include son, Clint Evans, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Judy Evans; grandsons, James Jefferson, Clint Evans, Jr and wife, Emily; Michael Jefferson; Brandon Jarvis and wife, Carrie; granddaughter, Amy Evans Lara and husband, Jeff; and 5 great-grandchildren, Nate, Benton, Landon, Wyatt, and Georgia Ray. - - - Bratcher Funeral Home


Denison - Services for Jimmy Lynn Evans, 24-year-old employee of Kaiser Aluminum Co. who died Tuesday from a gunshot wound at Country Club Estates February 12, 1980 was held Friday afternoon at Bratcher Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Jack Stafford and Rev. John Purcell officiated.  Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
Mr. Evans was born July 2, 1955 in Denison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyndol Ray Evans, and was married to Barbara Potts on August 17, 1979 in Denison.  He was a Presbyterian.
Surviving are his wife of Denison; sons, Brandon Ray Evans, Joshua Lee Evans, Michael Paul Evans, and James Lynn Evans, all of Denison, parents of Denison; and brother, Clint Evans of Denison.
Pallbearers were Steve Mason, Clifford Bankston, Fred Marlow, Ted Wortham, Frank Ulch, and Brian Hicks.
