Erickson 3 March 1915 - 14 September 1985 Sergeant US Army WWII February 10, 1987 Sherman - Graveside service for Mary D. Erickson [sic], 65, of Sherman, who died tuesday in a Sherman hospital were held Thursday morning at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Rev. William B. Johnson officiated. Mrs. Erickson was born April 30, 1921 in Sherman. She attended Sherman schools and Texas Tech. She married Vernon R. Erickson August 19, 1944 in Sherman; he died September 14, 1985, The Ericksons owned and operated Vern Erickson Office Equipment Store in Denison. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include a son, Thomas V., of Pottsboro; daughter, Kristina Erickson Beeler of Mead; brother, Dr. Joe Dennis of Lubbock; sister, Delores Slagle of Houston; and one grandchild.
