APRIL VOWS ANNOUNCED
Miss Marguerite Lindley and John M. Dendy, Jr., both of this city were married in Clarendon on April 27, 1942.
The bride's attendant, Miss Lou Rose Whiteman, wore a black suit with white accessories and a corsage of red carnations.  R.C. Johnson of Clarendon served as best man.
The bride wore an aqua blue suit with pink and white accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
Mrs. Dendy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Lindley of Mineola.  She was graduated from Mineola High School and Holmes School of Shorthand.  She is an agent of the driver's license division of the State Highway Patrol.
Mr. Dendy is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Dendy, 1213 Buchanan Street.  He attended West Texas State College and the University of Chicago and is associated with his father in Dendy Barber and Beauty College.
The couple is at home now at the McMillen Apartments, 1320 Filimore Street.
