Established 1948  The Herald Democrat June 15, 2010 SHERMAN - Services for Marcus Douglas Jr., 94-year-old Sherman resident, were held Thursday morning in the Carrie White Chapel at Angelic Mortuary. Mr. Douglas died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Texoma Health Care Center in Sherman. Officiating was Rev. R.A. Sommers Sr. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Surviving are his daughters, Marshia Douglas-Love of Denison and Laniece Douglas-Strogen of Midlothian; son, Michael Douglas of Little Elm; sister, Ruby Douglas Hudson of San Marcus, California; brothers, Martin Douglas of Sherman and Walter Douglas of Texarkana, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
