Funeral services for Delores "Dodie" Davis were held Saturday morning, July 3, 2010 at Waldo Funeral Home. Rev. Claudia Rodgers officiated. Charlie Komorowski, Barry Hogans, Sr., Brandon Davis, Terry Lindsey, Dean Lindsey, Barry Hogans Jr. and Michael Ard served as pallbearers. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Ms. Davis, 62, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home. 
Dodie was born in Freer, Texas, daughter of Sherman and Dorothy (Robertson) Davis. Upon completion of nursing school, Dodie was a devoted caregiver, working many years at the former Columbia and Medical Plaza Hospital. Later she worked as case manager for Jordan Health Services until health issues forced her retirement. She was member of the Assembly
of God.

Ms. Davis will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Hogans, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Odessa; and Brian Hogans and wife, Brandy, of Sherman; one daughter, Vikki Trammell and husband, Michael Ard, of Bells; two sisters, Nell Israel of Sherman and Marilyn Davis of Howe; brother, Dennis Davis of Yorktown, Texas; six grandchildren, Sierra Trammell, Blake Trammell, Kenzie Hogans, Ross Hogans, Dillon Hogans, and Joanna Magee; one great-grandchild, C.J. Hogans; step-mother, Ethel Davis Wooten of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. 

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the nurses at Hilltop Haven for their committed care to Ms. Davis
