Juanita Faye Hair Doyle of Denison, Texas died peacefully at Beacon Hill Continuing Care Center on July 30, 2916 in Denison, Texas at the age of 87.
Faye is survived by her siblings, Virginia Blakenship of Denison; Jim Hair and wife, Pat of Palos Heights, Illinois; and Barbara Morrison and husband, Arthur, of DeSoto, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Myrtle Hair of Denison, Texas.
Faye was born on November 29, 1928 in Davidson, Oklahoma; the family moved back to Denison when Faye was 11 years old.  After graduating from Denison High School began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Denison, Texas in 1946 and retired after 42 years of service.  For the next 10 years Faye organized and hosted a Sunshine group for fellowship and games at Southwestern Bell.  She continued meeting with her friends for games and fellowship at her home until moving to Beacon Hill.  Faye was an active and dedicated  member of the Denison Church of the Nazarene.  She served on the church Board, volunteered in the church office, and kept the Sunday School records for a number of years.
The funeral was scheduled for Tuesday morning, August 2, 2016 at Denison Church of the Nazarene.  Rev. Dave Pettigrew officiated at the celebration  of life service.  Burial folloed the service at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. - - - Bratcher-More Funeral Home
