Established 1948   Edwin Christman, Jr. 1927 - 2011 Helen Christman 1932 -   Edwin Christman Jr., age 84, passed away, Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center. Edwin Christman Jr. was born July 11, 1927 in Wichita Falls, Texas, son of Ed and Irene Christman. Edwin married the love of his life, Helen Davis, September 4, 1948 in Denison, Texas. He served his country proudly in the military during World War II. He was a man of all trades. Edwin loved to go fishing, take care of his animals and being with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Christman is survived by his beloved family - wife , Helen Christman of Cartwright, Oklahoma; children, Larry of Cartwright, Oklahoma; Roger of Medford, Oklahoma; Deloris Diana and her husband, Nicky Thomas; Jeff and his wife, Cindy, all of Cartwright, Oklahoma; grandchildren - Eddie Christman, Kathy and Bryan Snavley, Alisa Christman, Timothy and Crystal Thomas, Jessica and Jonathon Horn, Angelica and Cody Stanley, Jed Christman, Maranda Christman; step-grandchildren, Dylan Jones, Zach Jones, Brooklyne Jones; great-grandchildren, Savanna Christman, Samantha Bray, Kaden Snavley, Tanner Horn, Calen Thomas, Cody Stanley and Abigail Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Irene Christman; sister, Ester Christman; and brother, Bill Christman. Graveside services were held Wednesday afternoon, October 19, 2011 at Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pastor Randy Lewis officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 West Main in Denison, Texas.
