DENISON - Castelle Thelma Cagle, 94, passed away June 10, 2010 at the Homestead of Denison.
Funeral service were held Monday morning, June 14, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Hawthorne officiating. Pallbearers were members of First Presbyterian Church in Denison. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park,  Sherman.
Mrs. Cagle was born March 14, 1916 in Cranfield Gap, Bosque County, daughter of Phillip Canuteson and Matilda Germstand. She graduated from Clifton High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Denison. She married Newton Cagle on September 2, 1939 and moved to Sherman. She worked for Langston Bakery for several years, then bought a bakery in Denison. She worked there until Mr. Cagle passed away, and then she worked for various bakeries until she retired.
She leaves behind several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend and companion, Henry Langford, whom she considered her son.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard Street, Denison.
