Robert Odell "Bob" Clay, 76, of Denison, passed away March 16, 2022 at Beacon Hill Rehabilitation Center.
Services were held Saturday morning, March 19, 2022 at Trinity Lighthouse Church in Denison with Rev. Raymond England officiating.  Burial followed at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Sherman.
Bob was born in Denison on December 2, 1945, one of 2 children of James E. "Buddy" Clay and Mary Lou Clay.  He was a lifelong resident of Denison and was the former owner of the Clay's Convenience Stores, The Sandwich Factory, and served as an assistant pastor at Trinity Lighthouse Church before retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Clay, of Denison; 3 sons, Robert C. Clay and wife, Julie, of Colorado Springs; Chad E. Clay and wife, Dedra, of Sachse; Bryan K. Clay and wife, Brandi, of The Colony; 3 grandchildren, Travis Clay and wife, Allison, of Mesquite; Lindsay Clay of Sherman; Cody Clay of Colorado Springs; 4 great-grandchildren: Kayden, Addisyn, Colt and Cylene.
He was preceded indeath by his parents and sister, Barbara Lance.
Pallbearers were Travis Clay, Cody Clay, Gary Lance, Mark Lance, Josh Stamper, Corbyn Stamper, Chris Brede and Bob Barker.
