Cantrell 15 September 1890 - 12 July 1978   Annie Cantrell Owens 23 March 1912 - 1999  Sherman Democrat Wednesday, February 28, 1990 Seaburn Cantrell, 71-year-old retired assistant service manager for Young Motor Company, died Tuesday, February 27, 1990 in a Sherman hospital. Services were held Friday morning, March 2, in Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Woods of Fairview Baptist Church officiated, with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Cantrell was born in Sherman, the son of Fred and Minnie May Cantrell and attended Sherman schools. He was a World War II Navy veteran, with duty in the Atlantic. On November 25, 1960, he married Rubine Willis (sic - should have read Rubine Willis Winkler) in Sherman. Surviving are his wife; son Rodney Cantrell of Sherman; daughter, Carol Downey of Chaska, Minnesota; brother, Calvin Cantrell of Kingston, Oklahoma sister, Annie Bell Owens of Sherman; and four grandchildren.
