- Graveside services for Minnie Clontz, 87, of Kaufman, former Denison
resident who died Thursday in a Dallas hospital, were held Saturday at
Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. L.D. Lamb officiating. Local
arrangements were by Bratcher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clontz was born May 1, 1899 in Denison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Watson. She married William Arthur Clontz January 20, 1917 in Oak Grove. She and her husband operated Clontz Grocery. Surviving are 4 sons, Carolos of Kaufman; Bobby of Denison; Marion of Mabank; and Paul of Dallas; sister, Addie Mae Polson of Denison; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
