SHERMAN - Pamela Ruth Cloud Turner, 54, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2013, in Sherman, Texas after a long struggle.
Pamela, as we all know as "PAM," was born in Houston, Texas, on June 30, 1958. She graduated from Sam Houston High, Houston in 1976. Pam moved to Sherman in 1980 and opened her own hair salon "Family Hair Styles" on Maxey Street.
Pam dearly enjoyed her daughter, Misty Gayle and all her activities from gymnastics, clogging, dance to cheerleading. Pam was always the Jack of all trades from costumes, makeup to hair do's. Pam was there to do it. She was a member of the Cannonball Cloggers for many years before she started her own clogging group in 1993 called "CLOUD 9." What great pride she took in her group of 36 members. Pam mostly enjoyed her time with her daughter and two grandsons, Braydon Thomas and Dalton Thomas. Pam cherished her great times, going to soccer and baseball games or just simply backyard fun.
Pam is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Harold Reynolds, mother, Frances Ruth Reynolds, brother, Coady Dixon Reynolds, and Misty's father, Jerry Cloud.
She is survived by her daughter, Misty Cloud Hart, and husband Dustin Thomas Hart; step-son, Patrick Turner; two grandsons, Braydon Thomas Hart and Dalton Thomas Hart, who will miss their MiMi! She is also survived by two sisters, Caren Reynolds Cates and Margie Reynolds Smith; one brother, Phillip Alan Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, with Rev. Tim Harkins of the Sherman Bible Church officiating.
