Established 1948   Charles P. Brannon 1940 - 2018 Julia A. Brannon 1939 - 2009  Star-Telegram August 22, 2009 Julia Ann Brannon, 70, passed away at her home in Tioga on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Slay Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Arrangements were entrusted to Slay Memorial Funeral Center of Aubrey. She was born to A.J. and Rozell Chapin Looper on July 26, 1939, in Hill County. She married Charles P. Brannon on June 8, 1957, in Fort Worth. She retired from Texas Instruments in Sherman after 23 years. She was currently a cafeteria manager for the Pilot Point ISD. Survivors include her husband, Charles Brannon of Tioga; son, Brent Brannon and wife, Traci, of Decatur; daughter, Rhonda Harris and husband, Scott, of Rockwell, North Carolina; grandchildren, Joshua and Angel Harris of Rockwell, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Brayden and Kaylea Harris, also of Rockwell.
