Denison - Services for Tom B. Bassham of Denison, 81-year-od retired salesman who died Friday in a Denison hospital were held Monday morning in Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Earnest Potter officated and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Bassham was born in Melissa, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Bassham and married Vivian McGirk on September 19, 1926 in Denison.  He was a deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church and had worked at Steakley Chevrolet Co. for 35 years and American National Insurance for 10 years.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Barbara Darling of Denison and Betty Nyquist of Allen; and 7 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Johnson, P.E. Anderson, Don Doyle, Y.Q. Tillery, Louis Elrod and Walter Knight>
Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.

Denison - Services were Tuesday morning at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel for 88-year-old Denison resident Vivian Bassham who died Sunday in Colbert, Oklahoma.  Buria was at Cedarlawn Cemetery with Rev. Earnest Potter officiating.
Mrs. Bassham was born in McGrik, Missouri, daughter of Robert and Mary McGirk.  She married THomas Bassham September 19, 1926 in Denison.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Nyquist of Allen and Barbara Darling of Van Alstyne; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Johnson, Don Doyle, Albert Rector, Y.O. Tillery, John Havill, Al Armor.
