Josephine Booher, 82, of Sherman passed peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, July 6, 2011.  Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.  A family memorial service was held at Cedarlawn Chapel on the Hill, Friday morning, July 8, 2011 with Rev. Leland Samuelson officiating.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Josephine was born in Ambach, Germany, on June 2, 1929. She met the most handsome man she had ever seen while he was stationed in Germany. She married "Billy" in Bristol, Tennessee on March 5, 1952. Their marriage of 59 years resulted in three loving daughters.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Booher, of the home; daughters Rhonda Jay of Sherman; Cathy Booher (Bob) of Denison; and Becky Ragland of Pottsboro; sister Wally Seiler of Germany; 6 grandchildren: Julie Sharp (Vince), Chris Jay (Tammy), Randy Jay (Megan), Lindsay Parks (Dave), Rachel Morales and Taylar Eubanks; 5 great-grandchildren: Morgan and Ella Sharp, Aiden Jay, Cara Booher-Morales and Lillie Parks; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from Bristol, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and Bristol, Tennessee.
Mrs. Booher was preceded in death by her parents and a sister of Germany, and grandson Alex Morales.

Joseph Booher was born Friday, December 13, 1929 in Bristol, Tennessee, son of Howard and Millie Pierce Booher and passed from this life on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Homestead in Denison at the age of 87.
Joseph married Josephine Hermann on March 5, 1952 in Bristol.  She precedes him in death.  Joseph was a true patriot, retiring as Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force on December 1, 1968.  After retirement he opened his own business in Bristol.  They would return to Sherman where he would work for Kaiser Aluminum 5 years upon retiring again.
Joseph enjoyed working in the yard.  His passion was taking care of his wife and their 3 daughters.  
He was also preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Alex Morales; brothers, Jack and Vaughn Booher; and sister, Carolyn Sandidge.
Joseph is survived by his daughters: Rhonda Johnson and husband, Bill, of Sherman; Cathy Booher Stoolfire and husband, Bob, of Denison; and Becky Ragland of Pottsboro; brother, Donald Booher and wife, Betty, of Bristol, Tennessee; sister, Theresa Otey and husband, Levi, of Abington, Virginia; grandchildren: Julie Sharp and husband, Vince; Chris Jay and wife, Tammy; Randy Ray and wife, Megan; Rachel Morales; Lindsey Parks and husband, Ben; and Taylor Eubank and husband, Everett; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Morgan, Ella, Layton, Kinsey, Cara, Lillie and Crosby.
Private services for family and close friends were held in the Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bob Shepherd officiating.  Sheppard Air Force Honor Guard conducted full military honors at the cemetery.
