Whitesboro- Funeral services for Ethel Irene Booher were held Monday morning, May 3 in the Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Mike Flanagan of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro officiated with services under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Mrs. Booher passed away Friday, April 30 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center at the age of 86. 
Irene was born in Graham, Oklahoma, daughter of Leonard and Dorothy (McGauthey) Huey. After graduating from Dorchester schools, Irene lived most of her adult life in Ft. Worth where she owned several small businesses and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church. In the early 1970s, she moved back to the Sherman area. Mrs. Booher was an avid gardener and really enjoyed being near Lake Texoma, having lived there for several years. She moved to Whitesboro in the late nineties where she lived the remainder of her life. 
Mrs. Booher is survived by one son Doug Agee and his wife, Carol, of Rockwall; two grandsons, Lance Agee and wife, Dyana, of Rockwall; and Brent Agee and wife, Keely, of Wichita Falls; 4 great-grandchildren, Triton, Layla, Lucy, and Lila Rose; one brother-in-law, Billy Robertson of Sherman; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vera McAbee and Dorine Robertson. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels at 1117 Gallagher Suite 200 Sherman, Texas 75090 or Paralyzed Veterans of America at 801 18th Street NW, Washing ton, DC 20006-3517.
