Established 1948   Herald Democrat October 22, 2010 DENISON - Minel "Doty" Bond, 85, went to be with her soul mate and true love, James "Red" Doty on October 20, 2010 in Irving. Funeral services were held at Friday afternoon, October 22, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Danny Wood officiating. Pallbearers were James Rice, Zach Crisp, Robert Stephens, Mike Dumas, Chris Doty, Jaden Tomlinson and Jeff Jones. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman. Minel was born in Telephone on September 22, 1925, the daughter of Walter E. Rencher and Mary Basford. She was a member of East Baptist Church in Denison, loved to fish and spend time at the casinos. She is survived by sons, James Doty of Richmond; Danny Doty and wife, Janice, of Achille, Oklahoma; Robin Doty of Denison; Richey Doty of Denison; daughters, Joan Donihoo of Allen; Jeannie Miller and husband, Wes, of Rockwall; sister, Oleta Dodson of Bonham; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by James "Red" Doty; grandson, Franklin Manlon Yoh; grandson, Tony Gregg Doty and daughter-in-law, Rene Doty. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison.
