Denison - Services for Harold Bassham, 67, retired Department of Justice employee who died Thursday at a Denison hospital were held Saturday morning at Johnson-Moore Chapel, concucted by Rev. Bob Rutherford of the Epting Memorial Baptist Church.  Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

Mr. Bassham was born in Sherman, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bassham.  He married Leota Forisha  on June 9, 1931 in Sherman.  He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of Epting Memorial Baptist Church, Disabled American Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors are his wife of Denison; son, Richard Bassham of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Charles Odgen of Beaumont and Cathy Redd of Denison; brothers, Cecil Bassham of Dallas and Clarence Bassham of Conroe; sisters, Aileen Myers of Dayton, Ohio and Juanita Millard of El Monte, California; and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Disabled American Veterans members.

Denison - Services for Leota Catherine Forisha Bassham of Denison who died Monday in Texoma Medical Center were held in Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Bill Brown and Rev. A.C. Campbell officiated with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bassham was born in Denison, daughter of Newton and Kate Forisha and attended school in Dripping Springs.  She married Harold Bassham on June 9, 1931 in Durant, Oklahoma. She worked as a decorator.  She was a member of Harless United Methodist Church, Three Bells Rekebah Lodge No. 305 and TOPS No. 912.
Surviving are her son, Richard Bassham of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Sandra Ogden of Beaumont and Cathy Henry of Denison; brother, Harold Forisha of Houston; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family members.De
