Funeral services for Dewey J. Brigham,  61, who died January 12, 1960 at a local hospital, were conducted Thursday at Bratcher chapel with Rev. F.W. Yeakley officiating and Bratcher directing.  Interment was at Cedarlawn.
Brigham lived at 923 W. Morgan all during his lifetime.  His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Brigham, his birthday being March 4, 1898.
He was educated in the schools of Denison and at the age of 34 years married Miss Ada Tweedy, a Denison girl.   He served the Katy in the capacity of a transportation clerk for 24 years, retiring in 1959.
He was a member of the Baptist church, the Masonic lodge, Knights of Pythias and the clerks union. 
Surviving are his widow; one son, Leland E. Brigham of Durant; and a daughter, Mrs. Julius Spelce, Honolulu.  Also surviving are one brother, John A. Brigham of Colorado Springs; and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Roper, Sherman.
