Funeral services for Ella Louise Burleson Baker were held Friday, July 13, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church.  Rev. Chris Moses of the church officiated.  Private graveside services were held at Cedarlawn Memorial Park prior to the funeral.  Mrs. Baker, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 10 at her home in Sherman.
Ella was born March 24, 1927 in Howe to the late Jacob Springer Hall and Audrey Maurine Brooks Hall.  She attended Howe and Sherman schools.  Ella was a devoted homemaker but also worked as a supervisor for General Telephone and seamstress at Poole Manufacturing for many years.  Ella enjoyed quilting and sewing.  She was a devout Christian, took religious courses at Grayson County College and was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Baker is survived by two sons, Larry Burleson of Sherman; and Tom Burleson and wife, Charlotte, of Plano; two daughters, Sherry Wynne and husband, Mike, of Sherman; and Debbie Teague and husband, Pat, of Frisco; grandchildren, Wesley Wynne and wife, Lindsey; Thomas Wynne; Rachey Wynne Cain and husband, Jay; Tiffany Teague Turpin and husband, John; Ashley Teague Seitz and husbadn, Bobby; Brian Burleson and wife, Tamyra; Justin Burleson and wife, McKenzie; and Bradley and Clifford Burleson; great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Wynne; Luke, Patrick, and Stella Turpin; Thomas and Elle Burleson; Mason Burleson, Maddix Burleson; Jordan Wilson; and Alexander Burleson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jake Hall, Jr.; sister, Dorothy King; and two husbands, Clifford Burleson and Jack Baker..
