Mimi was born April 15, 1933 to William & Elizabeth Cramer in Islip, New York.  She was a Yankee by birth, but she headed south as quickly as she could and settled down in Texas in December 1949.  During her life she was a fixture in St. Mary's Church and worked for over half a century as a realtor in and around Grayson County.  She was honored by the National Association of Realtors as Realtor Emeritus.
She was the Matriarch of the Baird Family and is survived by her husband of 68 years, Donald R. Baird, Sr.; her eight children, Don Baird, Jr., Drew Baird, Kim Bailey, David Baird, Douglas Baird, Daniel "Danny" Baird, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Ottwell and Thea "T2" Turner; and her sister-in-law, Thea Baird Bullard.  She is also survived by her 29 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mimi was an avid traveler.  She passed away peacefully after visiting her great-granddaughter in South Carolina and got to see the Atlantic Ocean one final time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. - - - Waldo Funearl Home
