Francis Lynn "Jack" Beaver's family is sad to annouce the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather on January 18, 2021.  Jack was born on April 6, 1944 in Ely, Nevada, son of John Francis Beaver and Anna Barbara Beaver.  He was a 1962 graduate of Burkburnett (Texas) High School and a graduate of Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was a Vietnam veteran and served his country proudly in the Army 1962-1965.  He spent his career in law enforcement.
Jack married Patricia Miller on March 1, 1969.  Together they had one daugher, Jennifer.  He was very proud of his family and grandchildren; he attended all of their activities.
On July 22, 2006 he married Martha Wright Vannoy.  A blended family began with all the children and grandchildren.
His favorite hobby was fishing.  He loved taking his grandkids fishing and spending time with them.  He also was an avid football and baseball fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
Jack loved his church and church family and gladly served in anyway he could.  He had a special place in his heart for special needs children; he enjoyed working witht hem and teaching them in church.  He was a volunteer at the Veterans' Hospital in Bonham, Texas and enjoyed spending time with the veterans.
He was very proud of his family and their successes and accomplishments.  He was a very caring person and will be missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Patricia Beaver.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Beaver, of Collinsville, Texas; daughter, Jennifer McDaniel and husband, Jimmy, of Whitewright, Texax; sister, Diane Beaver of Weatherford, Texas; stepsons, Michael Vannoy of Sherman, Texas and Brian Vannoy of Bedford, Texas.  Four grandchildren survive him: Hayden McDaniel of Durant, Oklahoma; Ashley McDaniel of Galveston, Texas; Sydney McDaniel of Whitewright; and Britton Vannoy of Roanoke, Texas.
Services were held Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2021 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas with military honors. - - -Waldo Funeral Home
