Peggy Lou Hutchison Brigance was born February 19, 1920, in Sherman, Texas and died August 20, 2012, in Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mack Bailey Hutchison and Terrence Vinson Johnson Hutchison.
She is survived by loving husband, John A. Brigance, a marriage that lasted 70+ years. She is also survived by her two sons, Terry Brigance & wife, Julie, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and John A. Brigance, Jr. of Austin, Texas; and grandson Josh Walker of Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Other survivors include her brother Billy Mack Hutchison of Orlando, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Eastern Hills Country Club Woman's Golf Association. She and her husband belonged to the Tejas Dance Club for 25+ years.  In addition, Peggy was active in the U.S. Army Corps Woman's Club.
A funeral service was on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, Dallas, Texas. Burial followed at 1:30 pm in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, Texas.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity in Peggy Brigance's memory.
