Linda Fay Armstrong went to be with the Lord Monday, June 5, 2023.  She was born in Sherman, Texas on May 3, 1941, daughter of John Adler and Ruby Fay Nix Monday.
Linda was a 1959 graduate of Denison High School. She had fond memories of being a "soda jerk" when she was young.  She worked for the Denison Herald for 4 years before she became a Tupperware sales lady for 4 years. She then became a full time wife and mom.  In 1979, Linda went to work for Denison ISD. She retired after 33 years of service.
Linda was a faithful member of Park Avenue Church of Christ. She will always be remembered for her gentle and servant heart. She was a friend to everyone she met, making sure everyone around her felt loved and comfortable.  He many hobbies included gardening, sewing, cross-stitch, quilting, scrap booking, and baking delicious pies.
But what brought her the most joy was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family meant the world to her.
Linda is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lewis Edward Armstrong; son, Bryan Armstrong of Pottsboro; son, Brett Armstrong and wife, Zella, of Denton; grandson, Dylan Armstrong; granddaughters: MacKenzie Armstrong and Jenna Armstrong.
Funeral services for Mrs. Armstrong were held Thursday afternoon, June 15, 2023, at Park Avenue Church of Christ with Minister Todd Catteau officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
