Leader February 8, 2001 TOM BEAN - Services for Larry Dean Ashlock, 52, of Tom Bean were held Friday morning, February 3, 2001 at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman with Rev. Glynn Tyson officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. He died Tuesday, January 30, 2001, in a Sherman hospital. He was born in Sherman to Horace "Red" and Hester Ashlock. He graduated from Sherman High School. He retired from Texas Instruments after 25 years as a supervisor. He was a member of Luella First Baptist Church. Survivors are one son, Chad Ashlock, of Tom Bean; one daughter, Lori Bowlin, of McKinney; one brother, Jerry Ashlock, of Wichita Falls; and 2 grandsons.
