The beloved matriarch of our family, Shirley Mae Asbill, was called to her heavenly home Monday, December 3, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center.
Ms. Asbill was born May 31, 1950 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Richard and Martha Hollowell Belcher.  For 20 years she demonstrated her servant's heart as a dietician at Wilson N. Jones Hospital.  The greatest joys in her life were her family, dear friends, and her faith in Jesus Christ.  Shirley never met a stranger and her kindness was seen by many.  She loved cardinals, Elvis, comedians, and playing bingo.  With her unwavering faith, Shirley instilled strong Christian values to her children.  Although her passing leaves a void in all of our lives, she will live forever in our hearts.
Ms. Asbill leaves her beloved family - husband, Billie Asbill, of Denison; daughters, Mary Williams of Denison; Teresa Kemp and husband, Michael, of Denison; and Carlena Bullard of Pottsboro. sons, Jerry Bart Williams and wife, Sherry, of Denison; and Steven Williams of Denison; 35 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. brothers, Edgar Wayne Belcher of Denison; Jimmy Belcher and wife, Cindy, of Sherman; sister, Susan Parker of Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Brenda Williams; sister-in-law, Beverly Belcher; grandsons, Cory Lee Williams and Jonathan Lee Williams.
Funeral services for Ms. Asbill were held Wednesday afternoon, December 12, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
