Lydia Pearl Fish was born in Archer City, Texas on February 23, 1938, daughter of Archie and Ollie Brewer Fish.  On June 9, 1955, she met and married the most handsome man she knew, George Adams; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1996.
After being widowed, she began worked at Pro-Cuts and was affectionately renamed "Minnie Pearl" by those who worked alongside her for 10 years.  She enjoyed all kinds of puzzles, watching football and sharing stories. As a loving mother and Mema, Pearl gave her best to the family she loved. 
She is survived by her sister, Yvonne Cargill; 3 children: LaDonna Perkins; Brian Adams and wife, Jessica; and Melinda Dusold; grandchildren: Angela Land and husband, Shawn; Steve Perkins and wife Whitney; Krystal Hunter and husband, Jared; and Dezire Dusold.  She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Irene Cox, Robert Fish, Patsy Traylor; and grandson, Brian Adams, Jr.
Graveside services were held Friday afternoon, April 29, 2022 at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman. - - - Waldo Funeral Home
