DENISON - Funeral for David Leroy Aday, 54, of Denison who died Nov. 16, 1992, at his residence were Wednesday in the Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Burial was in the Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Carol Norton officiating.
Aday was born February 12, 1938, at Carpenters Bluff, son of Dean Lee and Vera Melton Aday. He attended Denison schools
and Grayson County College. Aday served in the Texas Army National Guard in the 249th Signal Battalion and was called
to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He married Zo Anne Ruth October 24, 1959, in Denison. A 26-year employee of Johns-Manville, he was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Aday and Travis Glenn Aday, both of Denison; brother, Allen Aday of Denison; two sisters, Mary Layton of Borger, Joann Minor of Broken Bow; and three grandchildren. 
Pallbearers were Bobby Clark, Tommy Goode, Kenneth Bentley, Roger Hornsby, Billy Wayne Mitchell, Thomas Wright, Don Brotherton, and Dean Thompson.
